I am member of the Imperial 501st Legion, My brothers and I received our orders from the chancellor. After the order I wrote a lament for my brothers who fell that day.
Clone Trooper's Lament
Here we are again,
Put on your visor!
Cinch up your armor!
Lace up your jack boots and follow me!
We are immortal.
Troopers we are .
Come on boys follow me!
We fight for the chancellor.
We do our jobs and they do theirs.
"Executive Order 66" comes down
The generals must die.
We cut them down,
A few of us fall.
We follow orders,
Though this is not our war,
We were bred for it.
So this day is special to us clone troopers we remember our brothers this day and those we fought. Others remember it as when the empire was born, but never forget it was born out blood and battle.
